No fewer than 17 pupils have been confirmed dead following a fire incident at the Hillside Endarasha Primary School, Central Kenya.
DAILY POST learnt that the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday night when the pupils were asleep.
The spokesperson of the Kenyan Police, Resila Onyango confirmed the development to local media on Friday morning.
According to the police, a team of investigators has been deployed to the school to unravel the remote cause of the fire incident.
