The release clause in Eberechi Eze’s contract at Crystal Palace has expired today (Friday).
Eze is believed to have had a £60 million clause in his deal.
But according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, today is the last day to trigger it.
Romano wrote on X: “The release clause of Eberechi Eze at Crystal Palace expires today and no club has activated it.
“Despite interest from several clubs, the clause expires for England winger as @BobbyManzi called.”
Arsenal and Manchester City are two of the clubs that were linked with Eze this summer.
