Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has taken to social media to share a list of foods she stopped taking in order to fight fibroids.

In a video shared on Instagram, the actress disclosed that she recently started a holistic journey to shrink fibroids and some of the foods she took on a daliy basis had to go.

Listing some of the foods, the actress said, “Red meat includes Lamb, cow, ram, goat, sausages, and processed meat.”

She also mentioned “White carbs like rice,  bread, noodles, and cheese” adding that “home milk, refined sugar, e.g., cookies, cakes, and processed food”, are generally no good to the body.

Holding up a trash can, the actress emphasized that food that is high in salt also belongs in a trash.

She stressed that she’s avoiding these foods because they are high in estrogens, which make the fibroids grow.

She concluded by stressing the importance of stress management in the process, maintaining that avoiding the listed foods without managing stress renders the whole effort useless.
