The International Press Centre, IPC, through its Safety and Protection of Journalists, SPJ, has decried the detention of a Kano-based journalist, Muktar Dahiru of Pyramid FM in prison.
Dahiru was allegedly arrested and detained for sharing contents assumed to be offensive by the Kano State government.
DAILY POST learnt that the journalist was arrested by the Police on Thursday, August 29, 2024 for content shared on his Facebook page.
