Esther Nworgu has won silver women’s 41kg para-powerlifting at the ongoing Paris Paralympic games.
It is Team Nigeria’s second medal of the 2024 Paralympic Games after Eniola Bolaji won bronze in para-badminton.
Nworgu set two new paralympic records en route with lifts of 112kg and 118kg in her final two attempts.
