Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has expressed worry that some Boko Haram leaders might have escaped from prison during the heavy flooding in Maiduguri.
He affirmed this during an interview with the BBC when he was asked if he was worried that some Boko Haram leaders might have escaped due to the flooding.
Recall that Maiduguri and some neighbouring towns were submerged by flood caused by the overflow of the Ngadda River.
