Alex Iwobi surpassed Nwankwo Kanu’s Premier League assist record after helping Fulham defeat Newcastle United 3-1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Iwobi set up former Arsenal forward Emile Smith Rowe for Fulham’s second goal against the Magpies.
The assist, which was Iwobi’s 30th, means he is now the Nigerian player with the highest assist in the Premier League.
