A lion at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Wildlife Park in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has fatally attacked its handler, Babaji Daule.
Daule, 35, was reportedly killed while approaching the cage to feed the lion on Saturday.
According to a statement from the park’s management, the trained handler had volunteered to show some guests the feeding routine of the male lion in its inner enclosure after the park had closed for the day.
