Iconic United States country singer and actor, Kris Kristofferson, has passed away. He was aged 88.
Kristofferson’s family confirmed the demise in a statement on Sunday, though the cause of death was not disclosed.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our husband, father, and grandfather, Kris Kristofferson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, at home,” the statement read.
