The Lagos territorial office of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has announced that they have been able to receive 180 Nigerians who were formerly stranded in Libya.

Announcing on their official X (Twitter) page on October 3, 2024, they shared that they had been able to recover a total of 180 Nigerians, consisting of

“67 females, 55 males, 45 children, and 16 infants”

In the post, they revealed that the returnees had arrived on Wednesday the 2nd of October, 2024, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airpot in Lagos, at 7:30 pm.
