Governor Hyacinth Alia has commended Benue people for their peaceful and overwhelming support for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Saturday local government elections.
Alia gave the commendation in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Sir Tersoo Kula, and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Makurdi.
The Benue State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC) has declared APC winner of all 23 chairmanship and 276 councillorship seats.
