The newly inaugurated chairperson of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo, has directed that the name of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, be removed from a building in the council’s secretariat.
The administrative block, previously named after Wike, will now be known as “Obi Wali House.”
Ihunwo issued the order during his visit to the council secretariat on Monday, just hours after suspected hoodlums set ablaze the Ikwerre and Emohua local government secretariats.
