The suspended Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Council, Jelili Sulaiman, has urged the Lagos Government to avoid implementing his suspension by the State Assembly.
Henzodaily reports that Sulaiman, in a statement issued on Thursday by his lawyers, Dr Abdul Mahmud, Levite Solicitors and Arbitrators, said the purported suspension is subjudice and should not be carried out.
The embattled chairman contended that there is a pending case on the issue before the Federal High Court, Abuja. He urged the state to adhere to due process and respect the judiciary.
