The Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja has issued a new summons to former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.
According to reports, the former governor has been ordered to appear before the court on November 14, 2024, over allegations of criminal breach of trust and possession of unlawfully acquired property.
The summons, issued by Justice Maryann E. Anenih, accuses Bello of committing these offences between 2016 and 2023.
The order, dated October 3, 2024, was revealed in a post shared on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s X handle on Friday.
