The newly elected Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo, has removed the name of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT), Nyesom Wike, from the administrative block of the council secretariat.
Henzodaily recalls that Inhunwo and 22 other LGA chairpersons elected during the Rivers local council election last Saturday were recently sworn in by the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
At the end of the poll, the Action Peoples Party won 22 council seats in the election, while the Action Alliance won one LG.
