Aer Lingus flight forced to make 200-mile diversion to Edinburgh Airport

AN Aer Lingus flight was forced to make a 200-mile diversion and land in Edinburgh.

The Irish airliner took off from Dublin at 7am yesterday and was due to land in Leeds.

But it is understood the flight was forced to head north after fog sparked travel chaos.

The flight landed around 8.15am.
