Tobi Amusan is optimistic of claiming gold medal in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The world record holder marched into the semi-finals on Wednesday morning after winning heat 1 in a time of 12.49s.
America’s Alaysha Johnson finished second in a time of 12.61s, while Janeek Brown of Jamaica was third with a time of 12.84s

Amusan missed out on a place on the podium three years ago in Tokyo, finishing in fourth position in the final.
The 27-year-old is however upbeat she can claim the title this time around.
