Tobi Amusan breezed into the women’s 100m hurdles semi-finals at the 2024 Olympic Games on Wednesday.

Amusan took first position in heat 1 in a time of 12.49s.

USA’s Alaysha Johnson was second in a time of 12.61s, while Janeek Brown of Jamaica came third in a time of 12.84s.

The 27-year-old is the world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles.

She is looking to make history by becoming the first Nigerian to win gold medal in the event.
