The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended the collation of results for the governorship election conducted in Ondo State on Saturday. This is coming after the electoral umpire has announced results collation for 16 local government areas in the State.
Due to the distance of the remaining two LGAs, INEC suspended the collation of results to resume at 12 noon on Sunday. The collation officer, Prof Olayemi Akinwunmi announced the recess.
