The defendant was arraigned on three counts of conspiracy to impersonate, forgery of an official identification card, and impersonation by pretending to be a military personnel.

DAILY POST recalls that on January 11, 2024, Abdul pretended to be a member of the Nigerian Army by unlawfully wearing a Nigerian Army camouflage uniform.

Abdul was found with an identity card bearing the distinctive emblem of the Nigerian Army.

The ID card had the name tag “Abdul Umar” with the corporal rank.
