BRITISH Airways flights have been grounded in an IT meltdown that’s left thousands of passengers stranded.
Some were stuck onboard BA planes waiting for clearance to take off while others stood in the cold waiting to board their flights.

Many holidaymakers faced lengthy delays and were left waiting at the baggage claim area for hours.
The issue was reportedly caused by an IT glitch at around 5pm which impacted the company’s software.
