An early morning fire outbreak at Rangaza community of Ungogo local government area of Kano State has claimed the lives of a couple.
Sixty-seven-year-old Muhammad Uba and his wife, Fatima Muhammad were said to be trapped by the smoke of fire that engulfed their apartment.
The spokesperson of the Kano State Fire Service, Yusif Abdullahi, confirmed the incident in a statement yesterday, explaining that the incident happened around 1:45am.
