Despite insecurity the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) has fixed November 16, 2024, for the Local Government Election in the State.
The new Chairman of the Commission, Bala Aliyu Gusau, who was earlier today sworn in by the state chief Judge, Justice Kulu Aliyu represented by Mukhtar Yusha’u of the Zamfara State High Court at the council chamber of the Government House, Gusau, announced this while addressing journalists on the preparation ahead of the conduct of the local council poll.
