The Edo State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, has condemned the alleged assault on the Chairman of Esan West Local Government Area, Mr Collins Aigbogun.
The association, through its state chairman, Newman Ugiagbe, described the act at Illeh in Ekpoma as a clear violation of democratic principles and the rule of law.
