The newly elected Chairman of Obio Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo, has removed the name of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, from the council secretariat’s administrative block.
Ihunwo, alongside 22 other local government chairpersons, was recently sworn in by Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, following the local council elections held last Saturday. In the elections, the Action Peoples Party secured 22 out of the 23 council seats, while the Action Alliance won one seat.
