According to FIBA, the cities under evaluation as potential new Group Phase hosts are Antwerp in Belgium, Bratislava in Slovakia, and Stockholm in Sweden.

The bidding process to add one or two further co-hosts reopened to ensure the event is hosted under the most favorable conditions, is now closed.

The final decision regarding the additional co-hosts for the 2027 edition of Europe’s flagship women’s basketball competition will be made by the FIBA Europe Board in its November meeting.

Finland and Lithuania were confirmed by the FIBA Europe Board as hosts last year, with Finland designated for the Group Phase and Lithuania serving as the location for both the Group Phase and the Final Phase.
