Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini is rooting for Ademola Lookman to be the hero again when La Dea face Real Madrid in the Super Cup.
Lookman inspired La Dea’s victory over Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final in May.
The 27-year-old scored all three goals to help the Serie A club win the competition.
Atalanta and Real Madrid will battle for the UEFA Super Cup title at the National Stadium, Warsaw, on Wednesday (today).

“I think he’s doing very well. He was one of the first to come back from his holidays,” he told a press conference.
“There are players who started a little earlier and others later. Ademola is one of the players who is in the best form.
“No Italian team has played this game in 14 years, which was Inter. In our league there are not many players who have participated in the European Super Cup.
“It’s a very important moment for us. Ademola not only scored in the Europa League final, but we hope he will do so against Real Madrid.”
