Recall that Ighalo, who is currently affiliated with Al-Wehda, had a loan spell at Granada from Serie A club, Udinese, during the 2009/10 season.

Ighalo also expressed his delight on social media about revisiting the club.
“Today is one of the happiest days of my life. 10 years later I return to my house, the one that gave me everything. I am very happy to be here!
“Thank you for supporting this club in all situations. And I hope one day my Granada can belong to the Granadans!! A big hug to all my fans! Without a doubt the best in the world,” he wrote on X.
