Alex Iwobi is seeking a positive start to Fulham’s Premier League campaign, reports Completesports.com.
Marco Silva’s side will be up against Manchester United in the opening fixture of the 2024/25 season at the Old Trafford on Friday.
Iwobi scored a late winner the last time Fulham visited the Old Trafford in February.
The Nigeria international is targeting another positive result at the Theatre of Dreams.
“Yeah, it could be. So far, I am trying to create more. So, maybe we can do it again and create more. But it is all in the past now. It is about the present and hopefully doing it again,” Iwobi told Fulham’s official website.
“Yeah, of course, it is a great test. Man United, one of the best teams in the Premier League. It is a good challenge for us.
“I mean, we were able to do it last season. Hopefully, we can do it again this season and start the season strong.”
