The Kwara State government has announced plan to build an Independent Power Plant (IPP) to generate electricity for sale and utilities.
The state’s Commissioner for Energy, Engr. AbdulAzeez AbdulGaniy, disclosed this during a media parley in Ilorin, the state capital.
AbdulGaniy said the proposed IPP will boost economic development as well as increase employment opportunities in the state.
