A 30-year-old man identified as Motunrayo Olaniyi has allegedly stabbed his newlywed wife, Olajumoke, to death during a heated argument.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) gathered that the incident occurred on Friday, at Amazing Grace Estate, Elepe, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Confirming the fatal domestic altercation, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed that Motunrayo stabbed his 25-year-old wife multiple times, locked her in a room, and then set the house on fire.
After committing the act, the suspect reportedly inflicted injuries on himself.
