A Nigerian man has elicited mixed reactions on social media after showing the N10 his ex-girlfriend sent himThe young man expressed displeasure at the unsolicited amount his ex credited his account with as a way of laughing at himHe stated that he didn’t break her heart, but she left him long ago while their relationship had not ended

A lady learnt that her ex-boyfriend was now jobless and sent him N10 with a transaction description that reads, “Use am hold body my dear ex.”

Her ex-boyfriend, MrObi Alex Jekson, took to Facebook to react to her unsolicited action.

Man’s message to his ex

In his Facebook post, Alex lamented that his girlfriend made fun of him with unsolicited money because he had lost his job.

While stating that he didn’t break her heart, Alex revealed she actually left him while their relationship was still on.

He criticised her for the N10 gift and wished her well. He wrote:

“Guess who’s mocking me now coz I lost my job. Ma, I didn’t break your heart, you left a long time ago even when we were still in the relationship but this? Completely unnecessary but it’s well.

“I wish you success in life and happiness.”

Why Alex lost his job

Henzodaily.ng reached out to Alex to enquire why he lost his job and he explained:

“I worked with an NGO Medecins Sans Frontier, but as a daily worker. However, I had a serious quarrel with my boss, so he got me sacked because I always turn up late at work, which was not entirely my fault, and that’s because my place is far from where I work.

“And transportation is way too expensive, so I normally trek to my place of work… I guess he didn’t just like me, but it’s fine. I believe God has greater plans for me by his grace.”

Alex wants to relocate to Port Harcourt

When quizzed about what he intends to do next, Alex expressed his desire to get a job in Port Harcourt and pleaded with Nigerians for financial aid as he resides in Kebbi State. In his words:

“I would love to work in Port Harcourt because my friend lives there and is ready to secure a job for me, but the biggest challenge now is money for transport to Port Harcourt.

“I stay in Kebbi State (Northern state) and it’s a very long journey from here to Port Harcourt.”

Opinions divided over ex’s action

Opara Kelechi said:

“Grow up man. Move on.

“Women has done more than this to many us but you can’t see us talk about it or come on social media to seek for pity from followers or friends. You can do better, heal and move on.”

Man shares how he dealt with ex

Meanwhile, Henzodaily.ng previously reported that a Nigerian man had shared how he dealt with his ex-girlfriend who rejected him eight years ago.

In a Facebook post, Samuel recalled how she dumped him eight years ago, saying she wanted to marry before 24 and did not see a future with him.

Not over the rejection, the man looked for her phone number eight years later and added her on WhatsApp. While he was now married and had a daughter, Samuel gloated that Chidinma was still unmarried at 27.
