Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has appealed to residents to remain calm and peaceful, refraining from violence and property destruction.
Obaseki made the call in his brief broadcast in response to the announcement by INEC that Monday Okpebholo, the APC candidate, was declared the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.
