Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, is still waiting for his first domestic trophy in Saudi Arabia, after they lost 4-1 to Al Hilal in the Super Cup on Saturday.
Ronaldo opened the scoring in the season’s curtain raiser just before half time.
However, the 39 year-old watched on as his team conceded four times within a 17-minute spell in the second half.
For Al Hilal, it is the second successive year they are winning the Super Cup.
It is also the fifth time in their history and they remain the most successful team in the competition, three titles ahead of Al Nassr.
The new Saudi Pro League season will begin on Thursday, when Al Nassr hosts Al Raed.
