Suspected terrorists have launched a violent attack on Dan Auta village, located in Sabuwa local government area of Katsina State, in the early hours of Friday.
The assault, which took place around 2am, resulted in the death of two persons, including a security operative from the Katsina State Community Watch Corps (KSCWC), and led to the abduction of 13 others, including women and children.
Among those abducted was the chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area, identified as Alhaji Imamu.
