Former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has criticized the recent fuel price hike, urging the Federal Government to reverse the sudden increase.
In a post on his X handle on Saturday morning, Obi, the ex-Governor of Anambra State, expressed his concerns after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) raised petrol prices by 14.8%, bringing it to ₦1,030 per litre from ₦897.
This marks the second fuel price increase in a month, with a previous rise in September when prices jumped from ₦615 to ₦897 per litre.
