Chelsea on Thursday announced the signing of defender Aaron Anselmino.
In a statement on their website, the Premier League West London club also said Anselmino will spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Boca Juniors.
“Welcome to Chelsea and good luck on loan, Aaron!” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
Anselmino has signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 19-year-old will initially continue his development in his native Argentina.
He signed his first professional contract with the club on 10 June 2023.
