The Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) has scheduled the state’s local government election for November 16, 2024.
Bala Aliyu Gusau, the newly appointed Chairman of the Commission, announced the election schedule on Monday.
Henzodaily understands that Gusau was sworn in as ZASIEC’s chairman earlier on Monday (today) by the state Chief Judge, Justice Kulu Aliyu, represented by Mukhtar Yusha’u of the Zamfara State High Court, during a ceremony held in the council chamber of the Government House in Gusau.
